Family Medicine
I am a mother of 2 kids and a passionate traveler. Balancing career and family life has been extremely challenging as well as rewarding.
I graduated from Ayub Medical College and since then I have spent my time in establishing my career which I am very proud of. I aim to provide compassionate patient centered care to all my patients. If I am not working then I travel with the family.
I pursue every opportunity to grow personally and professionally. My present life has taught me how to juggle these responsibilities. I am excited to join WAPPNA and offer my contributions

President Elect

I am a proud alumnus of Dow, a batch of 1988; after completing a year of internship and one year of underserved area work in KPK, Pakistan, I came to the US for postgraduate training and completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in geriatric medicine.
I have been a faculty at the University of Florida since 2003.
I am special interested in curriculum development, medical education, and medical student and resident development. I have been involved in the educational activities of various organizations such as APPNA and SGIM.
Was Chair of APPNA summer meeting CME and DOGANA.
I have been actively involved with WAPPNA, carrying out its mission and vision.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. I graduated from Louisiana State University for undergraduate studies, and I
graduated from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, for medical school.
I have worked as the medical director of inpatient rehabilitation facilities post-residency, and I am expanding into skilled nursing facilities.
